You're in a pub with your friend, having a drink and chatting. You see a good looking guy with his friends a couple of tables away. Suddenly your eyes meet, and a mutual smile is exchanged.
You would like to talk to him but you're to shy too approach him at this time. Instead, you pick up your mobile phone and start your BlooFlirt application. Within a few seconds you see a picture list of other BlooFlirt members in the same pub, including the good looking guy who you can't take your eyes off.
You send, "Hi, what a nice smile you have!". He replies "Thanks gorgeous, can I buy you a drink?" After a few messages you feel confident enough to have a drink with him at the bar.
After a bit of flirting the guy asks you for your number, but actually you don't want to give out your number to people you've just met. Instead you ask him to contact you through BlooFlirt. Our limited Beta launch held in Stockholm in late January was a resounding success!

Why should I use BlooFlirt?

How does BlooFlirt work?
We will soon upload a video to show you how BlooFlirt works. Basically you download BlooFlirt to you mobile phone, then start the application when you go out at night clubs or bars. In the BlooFlirt application you can do "BlooFlirt searches" which will return you a list of face-photos of other BlooFlirt members that are nearby. You can then send them flirting messages without having the mobile number and without revealing yours! -
What is so unique about BlooFlirt?
With BlooFlirt you can send text messages to other BlooFlirt members that are near to you (within 100m) without having their mobile number and without revealing your own! BlooFlirt allows you to find other mobile phones close to you without using GPS, Wifi nor GSM triangulation.
This means that you can install BlooFlirt on almost any mobile phone available today! The technology enabling this is called BlooAware - Bloo AB has a pending patent application for BlooAware technology. There is no other mobile service that delivers what BlooFlirt does. -
How much does it cost to use BlooFlirt?
It will be free to download and use BlooFlirt. However, buying virtual gifts and VIP passes for additional functionality will cost money. -
What's the chance of another BlooFlirt user being near me when I use BlooFlirt?
BlooFlirt is meant to be used in clubs and bars, i.e. in a closed environment during a known period of time. This means that the probability of other BlooFlirt users being near you will be quite high. The more users that download BlooFlirt, the higher the chance that you'll find others to flirt with, so help us spread BlooFlirt by telling your friends to sign-up! -
Must I have a mobile phone with GPS or Wi-Fi to use BlooFlirt?
No. BlooFlirt is not based on GPS nor Wi-Fi but both technologies may be used as complements if your phone supports them. -
Which mobile phone models are supported?
BlooFlirt can be installed on most of the mobile phone models. We’re working hard to support all mobile platforms. Currently we support most Java based phones (most SonyEricsson mobile phones), most Symbian phones (most Nokia mobile phones), most windows mobile phones and the iPhone. Support for Android (HTC mobile phones) will come during the summer. -
Must I have BlooFlirt running in my mobile phone all the time in order to get flirts/messages?
No. You can still receive messages even if BlooFlirt is not running in the background. We do recommend you to start the BlooFlirt application when you go to clubs and bars.
